Unit 5

For the fifth and final week of unit 5 we had just about finished every all that was left was to do an evaluation on this unit and step we took to make the video. We had also added our voices to the video we make and also decided to change the song in the back to something a bit more calm that wasn't so noticeable when people were going watch our video. D we had played a romantic song in our video it wouldn't have fir the theme we were going for when making the school since it was a school promotion which is why we decided to replace the previous song.

For the fourth week of unit 5 we had lists about finished recording every thing from. All that was left was to add voices to the clips we had recorded each classmate wrote their script and we decided if the voice lines would fit with the video. I had suggested to add subtitles to the video but we came a disagree as my team thought that would be too long. By finishing off our voices we had already started. We were first having difficulty as we didn't much footage to work with and needed to record a few scene that we had already done because of errors such as camera dying or someone getting when the camera was recording.

Contractual Brief Documents Contractual brief is a legal document, which made by a client and an employee. The contractual brief is pretty easy to understand and almost any one can do them. All that is for the client to fill the very own information about them selves. There is almost no confusion as the document is pretty straightforward. For example in media when making a movie actors must often sigh a contract that they must follow when helping to make the movie. The contract might contain things such an expression and before that is over they must finish the movie if not followed they could be sued or not get any more for not finishing the project,

For the third week of unit 5 we had recorded a lot of interviews to begin with so what was left was to record the school when it’s really active to even when he school is just about to start in the morning. We took the time to record when people are out of lesson to show the audience how populated and happy the students are at Lilian baylis. We went from places to places trying to record as much areas of the school so that we had a lot of footage to work with when came to editing and putting all the clips together we are also just about finished our shooting script for unit 5 in what scenes we would be recording and discus father how we should record it from angle to camera shots.  

For the second week of making the video for our schools we had planned out what question we would have in our interview towards teacher and student. We wanted to make the interviews somewhat diverse by interviewing students just start at Lilian to almost leaving from year 11 or sixth and some in between. At first a lot of teachers were hesitant against letting us internees some students as they were underage and needed their parents’ consent. As some of our classmates were still doing exam it lead to not become as predictive as we should be.  This is about the time we started writing other pieces of work such risk assessment, call sheet, location recce and shooting script.

In the very first week of unit 5 my whole class was put together as one team to finish our last unit. So we gotten the task that we were assigned to do and quickly started planning how we should take action. We planned on who we should interview at the start lucky we didn’t have much disagreement and agreed upon who we would interview.   We had started interviewing the head teacher and asked what the head teacher would want in the video as it would be promoting the school and its six forms. We then made second plan as to what the questions would be in the interview for students and teacher within the video. The problem was that we couldn’t exactly grab students out of the class room and film them as a lot of the teacher were worried about their students.
